Each year, our Foundation
organizes an April 23 Children’s Day Festival, gifting toys to less privileged
children across Türkiye, as part of our “Happy Childhood Initiative”.
For this year’s Children’s Day Festival, we collaborated with Eti Krom company, bringing the celebration back to its roots in Elazig. The festival was hosted at Sehit Rasit Ercan Primary and Secondary School in Elazig, celebrating with 300 students from various schools across the city.
Throughout the festival, children enjoyed a fun-filled day with jumping bouncy houses, magic and foam shows, face painting, clown performances, dancing and playing with their peers.
Through generous donations from our Foundation, YILDIRIM Group employees and local business partners, we supported the annual “Children’s Day Toy Campaign”, together with various toys, gifts, stationery and food, to reach more than 1,000 children.
- Tamer Adanir, General Manager of Eti Krom, and Murat Kaya, District Director of National Education of Elazig, presented the toys to the 300 students who attended the festival.
- An additional 700 children across Elazig were provided with our toys and gifts, through local municipalities, expanding the joy of Children’s Day beyond the festival ground.
