Garip & Zeycan YILDIRIM Foundation organized an introductory meeting about the "100th Year Village" being built in Hatay, a city affected by the earthquake. The members of "Blocks For Hope" and the president of Laughter Heals Association spoke at the event. They informed YILDIRIM Volunteers also about the Istanbul Marathon leg of the aid project.
The "Blocks For Hope" initiative aims to provide sustainable housing for earthquake survivors in Hatay. They continue the endeavors to build the 100th Year Village on the campus grounds of Mustafa Kemal University. In the 45th Istanbul Marathon, we will run as YILDIRIM volunteers to support the construction of the 100th Year Village in Hatay.
Yeliz Mursaloğlu Makzume and Sinan Güreli, members of "Blocks for Hope" and Aslı Bastıyalı, president of Laughter Heals Association, met with our YILDIRIM volunteers at YILDIRIM Tower on October 12, 2023. They presented to our volunteers the highlights of this project and the fundraising campaign to be organized at the upcoming Istanbul Marathon.
