The 4th edition of the Samsun Shopping Festival was organized at Green Golf Club in Samsun, from May 4th to 6th, to highlight local women entrepreneurs. In collaboration with Samsunspor Football Club Association, the amount of purchased goods from the Shopping Festival will be donated to build a basketball court in the Altinozu district of Hatay, to encourage earthquake survivors to play sports, be active and socialize.
Self-Defense Classes For Women Entrepreneurs
As part of the Samsun Shopping Festival, we sponsored free self-defense classes for women entrepreneurs on May 5th. Through this, we introduced the hard working women to basic self-defense techniques to help them avoid and escape any possible harmful attacks. Trainer Kenan Kara, and his assistants, voluntarily offered their self-defense expertise to be a part of this remarkable day for women business owners.
Samsun Women Entrepreneurs Support Our Purple Jersey Campaign
For over two years, Samsunspor Football Club and our Garip & Zeycan YILDIRIM Foundation have been running the Purple Jersey Campaign to empower women mentally, physically and financially. To honor this cause, 63 women entrepreneurs from Samsun offered their best support to us by promoting their business, wearing the special jersey, and donating a portion of their funds to the Campaign.
