The Garip & Zeycan YILDIRIM Foundation sponsors 3 different projects of Izmir Katip Celebi University that will take part in the 2024 TEKNOFEST competitions hosted by TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Institution of Türkiye).
As we aspire for the youth to grow into well-educated and well-qualified individuals advancing in technology, we have chosen to fund the following projects, which will feature vehicles designed with a collaborative effort of many young engineering students:
- Papalagi Project: Building an unmanned aerial vehicle that can disable any attacker toprevent violence against women
- Bioarmtech Project: Designing a prosthetic arm for disadvantaged individuals
- Susona Project: Detecting invasive species underwater and sharing their location and quantity
We wish much success to each of these projects as we are optimistic that our support will encourage the development of prospective engineers and it will help navigate their careers.
