Garip-Zeycan Yildirim Fen Lisesi

Samsun Fen Lisesi opened its doors to its students at 2000. The school is aimed to provide education for the successfull highschool students from Samsun region. In accordance with our mission to support education, our Foundation signed a protocol with National Education Department and built a new school in order to provide better education standards to students. Samsun Garip Zeycan Yıldırım Fen Lisesi opened its door at 2009 with 20 classrooms, 7 laboratories, 1 library, 1 teacher’s room and administrative offices. The school also has dormitory with a capacity of 180 students. Highly successful students of our country are continuing their education in our school with special facilities provided for them.

 

Zeycan Yıldırım Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi

In order to support the education at Elazığ region our Foundation built and donated to national Education Ministry Zeycan Yıldırım Professional and Technical Anatolian Highschool. Located at center Elazığ, our school which has provides professional and technical education to students from region. education he school which has 35 classrooms, 27 workshops, 3 science laboratories, 1 library and 1 dining hall.

 

Yılport Ulaştırma Hizmetleri Mesleki ve Tenik Anadolu Lisesi

Our school was constructed by Yildirim Holding on a 9600 square meter closed area on 11 acres of land. It has 24 classrooms, 6 laboratories, a conference hall for 400 people, a gym, a workshop building, a library and many social areas. It is on a unique location with a view of Izmit Bay and Osmangazi Bridge.

Children receive logistics themed vocational education. Teachers and training staff of Yılport Holding give classes to ensure real life experience prepares them for their careers. Students do their internships at Yılport terminals and other logistics companies within the region.

The first logistics workshop in Turkey was inaugurated in our high school in 2019. There are 2 computer labs, an occupational safety class, and crane simulators in our school. Our foundation also carried out the pilot period of the

English W/Tech program at our high school. 100 students received interactive conversational English education with tablets. Then, 2 foreign language classrooms and Mehmet Yıldırım English Speaking Cafe were established to develop language skills. One conversation topic is chosen every month at the cafe.

Our foundation has also realized the “Future Talents” project so that students can get ready more for their professional lives. Within the scope of the project, a mentoring system was established, personal development was prioritized, and they received a general introduction to business life.

10 students of the first class were also on their way to Erasmus internship. The technical students (5 boys and 5 girls) were set to travel to Portugal and Romania for 3 weeks for internships in the logistics industry. Our Foundation taught them English for this, but they were not able to go due to Covid-19. In September 2021, we will organize field trips for them to Antalya and to Ephesus.

 

Yarımca Ferrokrom İlköğretim Okulu

Our Foundation has built and donated to National Education Ministry Yarımca Ferrokrom Primary School at Yarımca village wich is a small village of Elazığ. The school has  science laboratory, information technology laboratory and a library.
