As a sponsor of GYIAD’s "Young Women's Employment and New Economy Summit", members of YILDIRIM Group and the Foundation went to attend to hear the findings of the “Young Women's Employment and New Economy Research Report” that was presented to the public, on May 11th.
Can Selcuki, Director of Türkiye Raporu, a well-known public opinion company, delivered the presentation of the report,underlining that:
- Financial and sustainable development can be ensured through women’s active participation in social, political, andbusiness life
- Both perceived and expected gender roles of women and men in social life should change for gender equality
- It is vital to provide women with opportunities to gain professional competency and skills in information and communications technologies as it is a field dominated by men but women are disadvantaged.
